JUNE 25, 2007


House bill 2756 was signed on Monday June 25th in a ceremony with the Governor. Present for the CAO were Dr. Vern Saboe (CAO Lobbyist), CAO President Dr. Don Ferrante, Dr. Michael Vissers, and Jan Ferrante. Representing ODOC, President Dr. Robert Taylor, Dr. John Schmidt and Dr. Roger Setera. Key Legislator, Rep. Wayne Scott along with other interested parties were also present.


House Bill 2756 is the Worker's Compensation bill that was a compromise to the original bill that we were working for in this 2007 session. This bill expands a Chiropractic Physician's role in treating injured workers from 12 visits over 30 days / to 18 visits over 60 days and to authorize time loss.

This bill takes affect January 1, 2008.
